Errors

Code:

Connecting to bot server failed!

This happens when the bot has difficulty making connection, usually caused by Firewall/Antivirus/Router. Turn off all security such as Firewall and Antivirus (check Windows Firewall too) and put your IP under DMZ on the router.

If it works, then see which one was causing the problem.

Code:

Invalid bot ID or Password

This means that the bot card you are typing in is not valid. Make sure the ID and Pass is correct.

Refer to the Quick Start Guide.

If you still get it, then it could be due to a Firewall/Antivirus/Router problem OR the card indeed has an issue, in which case you should come to Live Support.

Code:

Please activate BotID.

Your bot card is inactive and needs activating to your game account.

See the Recharge Guide.

Code:

This program is unavailable in your country

You will need to download the English Client of either EU or US servers. Try to make sure you have English language pack installed.

Code:

Failed to initialize the game

Make sure your client is in English.

Go to your PlayNC Launcher -> File -> Settings -> Advanced -> Language -> English

Download and use the English patch. This should fix the problem.

Incorrect Range Setting, please reconfigure

Please make sure that you click save on your bot configuration. Also, try a larger number.

Code:

! (just an exclamation mark)

Try re-download and manually patch your bot if it is not the latest version. Try to avoid the auto-updater.

Aion crashes at the login screen

Exit the bot, go to the PlayNC Launcher, right click on Aion and click Repair. Wait for this to finish and it should fix the problem.

Standard Self-Help Tips and Procedure

- Router - Try DMZ on your router for your computers local ip, this bypasses the router security.

- Firewall and Antivirus - Make sure your computers firewall and antivirus are disabled. Check Windows Firewall as well. Incase of Antivirus interferance, redownload and extract AionSZ.

- Make sure your Aion install is not back-up/transferred from another computer.

- Don't use Auto-update, use the manual patch on our download page.

- For all assassins - If you getting spammed with "Skill is not ready yet", if its not attacking properly, or every 30 sec it stops and starts spamming "Skill is not ready yet" then take off Aethertwisting off the skill list and it will fix it. The bot is simply trying to use Aethertwisting from 30 sec to 59.9 sec without success and not doing anything else.

- Repair the Aion Client - Go to PlayNC Launcher, right click on Aion and click repair.

- Make sure you're using English language
Go to your PlayNC Launcher -> File -> Settings -> Advanced -> Language -> English and setup the English language.

Just thought I'd point out something. For the Invalid range settings, it says that the first time you set up the bot, no matter what you do. Whether you set it to use Caps Lock, Do a quest, etc. All these things that have a pre-set range settings or shouldn't use one at all still require you to add a waypoint with a range ( I set mine to 50 ) and then delete it afterward. Problem solved.

EDIT:

For all assassins: If you getting spammed with "Skill is not ready yet", if its not attacking properly, or every 30 sec it stops and starts spamming "Skill is not ready yet" then take off Aethertwisting off the skill list and it will fix it. The bot is simply trying to use Aethertwisting from 30 sec to 59.9 sec without success and not doing anything else.

EDIT2: Saturn, make sure you add in the self help procedures to use the Aion Repair tool in the NCSoft launcher whenever users have crashes or disconects of any kind. That fixes about 50% of the problems.

Guys i got a problem it was all working fine today mornin but in the evenin it just says it encountered a problem and needs 2 close or debug , im using windows XP , i need help

Have another one though after I log in and launch start after selecting character it will zone out of game to desktop and then say there was an error and close Aion after that.
